How to register your team for the Cooper River Dragon Boat Festival on July 15, 2023:
 

• Are you a captain ready to register a new team? Beginning the week of January 1, 2023, click on the "Captains Register Your Team Now" button below and complete the online form. Contact us with any questions you may have at cooperriverdbf@gmail.com

• Not yet on a team but want to join the fun? Why not form your own team?  Gather 16 to 20 of your friends, family, neighbors, club members, or business colleagues and give yourselves a name. Registration is easy to do online. For more information on how to form a team, check out our How to Create a Team Page for complete instructions.

 

Practice Schedule

Practices will be available on Friday, July 29, 2022. Captains will be contacted to set up their team's practice. 

 

Only Community teams are eligible for an instructional/practice session before Race Day, and we highly recommend that teams take advantage of this opportunity. The practice will help your team with paddling tips and techniques and provide team building skills.  It is the captain/co-captains’ responsibility to schedule the time for your team’s preferred time slot and inform the team. We ask that you show up at the site 30 minutes before your scheduled practice to register for the session, ensure your waiver form is signed, receive your paddles and life jackets and get you into your boat on time.

 

If you decide to arrive earlier, please use the time to stretch/warm up your team before boarding the boat. Be sure each team member brings their own water.
